As an environmental scientist and a lover of sustainable travel, I recently visited Redwood Manor Motel during my exploration of the Great Ocean Road. The location, within walking distance from the Railway Station, was convenient. However, the early closure of reception led to a slight inconvenience in getting the keys, a minor hiccup in an otherwise smooth process.The room itself was spacious, with a comfortable Queen bed and additional single beds. The bathroom boasted a powerful shower, a delight after a day of surfing. While the lack of a stovetop in the kitchenette was a downside, the complimentary Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV made up for it.In terms of value, Redwood Manor offers a decent stay, but for guests seeking luxury amenities like air conditioning or a sitting area, they may find it lacking compared to other options in the area. The motel's eco-friendly approach is commendable, catering well to those with a budget in mind.
